Sony is set to reveal a new exclusive game during the Spike Video Game Awards this Saturday. However, the game’s website has gone live and features two teasers for the game.
The first one shows a bunch of riots, disaster footage and while a voiceover pretty much tells us the things he misses like the greesy smell of a downtown hotdog or things like the 4th of July family barbecues. We can assume the world has been wiped out and then the game logo appears.
The second teaser shows an Ant dying from some type of disease. Thanks to the internet, we’ve learned that the diease which killed the Ant was called Cordyceps. It infects the Ant and takes control over it mind and body, slowly killing it, before growing from it’s body and bursting spreading the disease and wiping out whole colonies. The footage is taken from a BBC Planet Earth episode.
So what will “The Last of Us” end up being? A game about a post apocalyptic land where humans were victims of this fungus? Or maybe it’s something completely different? We’ll only know once the full reveal happen on December 10th during the VGA awards.
